Mgr. Ilona Bužková, MBA

Ilona Bužková participates in the teaching of the subjects Designing in Social Services and Project Management A. She studied Social Policy and Social Work at Masaryk University, Faculty of Social Studies. After graduating from university, she worked as a social worker in the Silesian diakonia as a personal assistant to people with mental disabilities. She then specialized in project activities and internal regulations of the organization, working as head of the project department from 2003 to 2015.
Since 2015, she has been employed in the Salvation Army as a national project coordinator, participating in the preparation of applications under the European Structural and Investment Funds and national resources in the areas of social services and management of non-governmental, non-profit organizations. Among other things, she works as a manager of selected projects, provides methodological support to other project managers in the implementation and evaluation of projects, and prepares documents in the organisation’s internal regulations.
Since 2008, she has been a member of the Working Group on creating a System for financing social services in the Moravian-Silesian Region. In recent years, she has participated in work stays abroad as a member of the Executive Committee of the European Anti-Poverty Network and EAPN Europe (Task Force Structural Funds). She is also involved in the issue of food banks.
