Marcela Stryjová participates in the teaching of Social Services Policy, Business Economics, Design in Social Services and Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations at the PRIGO university. Within the framework of the study programme Social Policy and Social Work, she also participates in implementing Professional Practice and Supervision.
She also gives lectures on Economics and Accounting. She has been engaged in pedagogical activities for most of her professional life, both in high schools and higher education. She participated in the establishment of the secondary school IUVENTAS s.r.o. Her main task was to develop all the basic materials necessary for obtaining accreditation, drawing up educational plans and budgeting the school. From 2010 to 2015, she worked with SCIO company to evaluate schools in the Czech Repoublic.
Since 2006, she has been employed in the Salvation Army in the Czech Republic as the director of social services. In 2006-2015 she ran the Shelter for Women and Mothers with Children and accommodation for women; since 2015, she has been the director of preventive programmes in Ostrava, Bohumín, Kopřivnice, which brings together various social services: shelter, dormitory, field programs, low-threshold facilities for children and youth, social activation services for families with children, social activation services for the elderly and disabled.
Marcela Stryjová participates in professional internships abroad, e.g. social housing internships in England and the Netherlands.
